ALUFLAM Extrusion® is proud to announce an important step towards sustainability – the publication of our aluminum profiles and systems Environmental Product Declarations (EPD) on the international EPD platform.
What is an EPD and why does it matter? An EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) is an independently verified document providing transparent, scientifically based information about a product’s environmental impact throughout its lifecycle – from production to recycling. This helps our customers make more sustainable choices and select environmentally friendly materials.
But that’s not all! Our commitment to sustainability goes beyond the EPD declaration. In April 2024, we successfully implemented a solar power project, allowing us to use renewable energy in our production process. Additionally, we follow a ‘green paper-free’ policy to minimize paper usage, while our smart building management system optimizes energy consumption.
These initiatives are not just proof of our environmental responsibility but also an invitation to the entire industry to strive for higher standards. Join us in building a more sustainable future!
